Wheel ‘n’ Weft, a craft group creating arty objects to raise money for charity in the Hornsby district since 1976, turns 40 this year and is having its next exhibition at Thornleigh Community Centre on 28 to 30 October. Funds from the event go to the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter.
The members of the group have a passion for creating unique and beautiful, handmade arts and crafts including ceramics, glass, jewellery, paintings, needlework, decorations, cards, bags, toys, woodwork, sweets, and preserves.
Come along to this Christmas-themed exhibition and snap up some early gifts from the range of handcrafted gifts, decorations, cards, plants and gourmet foods. Admission is $5 which includes light refreshments.
