Competition Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed to be an acknowledgement of these Conditions of Entry.

Entry is only open to all NSW residents under the age of 18 years. A parent or guardian must be named on the Entry Form.  Employees, and their families, of the Promoter, Monthly Chronicle, including retailers, or agencies and companies associated with this promotion, are ineligible to enter.

There will be 4 promotions each year.  In 2017, the promotions will occur in April, June, September and December.

To enter, simply go to, and complete the official entry form on the website.

Only one entry per person will be accepted.  A name of a parent or guardian must appear on the entry form together with the person under 18 who is entering the competition.

The prizes consist of 4 x $50 gift vouchers for each promotion.  The prize winner can choose to spend the voucher at any of the activities listed on the School Holiday Activities page of the Monthly Chronicle.

The 4 Vouchers are not refundable or redeemable for cash, no change is given.

All valid entries received will be placed in the draw. The draw will take place on the following dates:  Monday 3rd April 2pm, Wednesday 28th June 2pm, Monday 11th September 2pm and Monday 18th December 2pm at the registered office of the Monthly Chronicle.  All entries received via the website will be printed and placed into a barrel.  Four winning entries will be drawn from the barrel for each promotion.

The parent or guardian of the winner will be notified by phone and email on Monday 3rd April 4pm, Wednesday 28th June 4pm, Monday 11th September 4pm and Monday 18th December 4pm respectively.  Winners names will be printed in the next edition of the Monthly Chronicle.

Winners agree to have their picture published.

The prize must be claimed by the winners parents/guardian within 4 days of the draw showing proof of I.D.

Any entry made with forged ID will be deemed void. The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged without the authorization of the Promoter.  The prize cannot be redeemed for cash.

The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the terms of the promotion including the prize and these Conditions of Entry, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in NSW where relevant.

The Promoter may conduct a further draw 5 days after the scheduled draw dates in order to distribute the prize if unclaimed by that date.

The Promoter, and agencies and companies associated with the promotion, will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, either directly or indirectly as a result of entering this promotion, or accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Winner must provide proof of identity to claim prize.

All claims and entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may enter personal information (i.e. names, addresses and other similar information) relating to each entrant,into a database used for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the entrant. The Promoter may provide personal information relating to entrants to organisations that assist the Promoter with promotional, marketing and publicity activities. An entrant may access and correct any personal information held by the Promoter, upon request to the Promoter.
