The Monthly Chronicle is holding our first annual photography competition for amateur photographers in Ku ring gai and Hornsby Shires.
The theme: ‘A new perspective on your area.’ It could be capturing a moment between friends at your school or workplace, a bird on your verandah popping in for a snack or anything you feel captures the essence of your area.
There are two prizes of camera shop vouchers totalling $100 for the first and second places. The top eight entries will feature in the December edition of the paper.
Entries will be judged by Monthly Chronicle Editor Jenny Barlass, Publisher Diana Paton and nature photographer Martin Anderson, based on composition, treatment of subject matter and use of colour.
